Our client, iBwave Solutions, is a leading developer of in-building wireless design software for wireless
carriers, equipment manufacturers and infrastructure integrators. Founded in 2003, the company is
expanding rapidly to penetrate in-building wireless markets worldwide.
iBwave is presently looking to hire an Inside Sales Representative that will handle all qualified lead
generation and sales activities for the organization. This position is based in Montreal.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, some of your daily duties would include researching, tracking
down and following up with potential customers worldwide. iBwave is looking for an aggressive inside
sales representative that will create interest for the company’s products and services through cold calls
and finding the right contacts within large organizations. If you have the ability to understand in-building
wireless network solutions and can persuasively communicate iBwave’s products benefits to a potential
user, this position will offer an excellent career opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generating qualified leads into the company’s sales funnel
- Contacting, following up and managing all prospects thru a structured sales cycle
- Making a minimum number of qualified customer calls each day
- Maintaining and updating our contact management database with current activities
- Managing and reporting sales pipeline and prospects to revenue
- Promoting iBwave’s Annual Maintenance & Support program to every customer
- Renewing Annual Maintenance & Support contracts for all software licenses sold
- Performing online demonstrations using web conferencing technology
- Effectively communicating features and benefits of solutions to prospects
- Setting up product trials and performing the necessary follow ups
- Participating on preparing industry trade shows
The ideal candidate will:
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with decision makers
- Be creative in generating leads and in stubbornly following up these leads
- Effectively and constantly generate new qualified leads
- Be unabashed and bold in performing cold calls to large organizations
- Research and sort out new potential leads initially in the USA and eventually worldwide
- Have a tenacious, energetic, assertive and persuasive personality
- Have good organizational and time management skills
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years inside sales experience
- Familiarity with software products sales, preferably in the wireless industry
- Ability to lead multiple customer sales cycles
- Ability to quickly learn a software product and communicate its value proposition
- Excellent writing and verbal skills, with an ability to generate quotes
- Bilingual with impeccable English (oral and written)
The successful candidate will be offered an attractive compensation package that will include a base
salary between 35,000 and 40,000 $CAN plus performance-based commissions.
